In early April, Triangle Process Equipment hosted a training session for area biopharm and engineering companies at the Golden LEAF Biomanufacturing Training & Education Center, located on the campus of North Carolina State University. The training session was led by Mixing/ Blending Product Manager Dan Osiedacz and Southeast Regional Sales Manager Craig Zeni, both from Fristam.
Attendees from Triangle Process Equipment included Chris Thomas, Raleigh Durham Sales Manger; Josh Griffin, Western North Carolina/South Carolina Sales Manager; Kyle Childers, Eastern North Carolina/South Carolina Sales Manager; Steve Hitch, Eastern Delaware/Maryland Sales Manger; and Crate Hall, Virginia/Maryland Sales Manager. In addition, product demonstrations were provided for various local engineering companies and pharma manufacturers.
“Golden LEAF is a dedicated biomanufacturing facility, so it was the perfect venue for training,” said Josh Griffin, Western North Carolina/South Carolina Sales Manager for Triangle Process Equipment. “We were able to work with different powders to simulate various applications, which provided a thorough overview of the mixer’s capabilities.”
The Fristam Powder Mixer is ideal for dairy, food, beverages, personal care, biopharmaceutical, non-sanitary products, thickeners and ingredients. It has the ability to blend dry and wet ingredients into a fluid stream and maintain performance – even as product viscosity increases.
After the half-day seminar, consensus from the attendees was that the product’s ergonomic design is both easy to use and achieves a complete and consistent mix.
